Jack Miller finished this saturday's sprint race in ninth place and with that he added just one championship point. The australian started the ten-lap race in tenth position.
In debrief, the #43 didn't hide the difficulties in adjusting his RC16 to the characteristics of the Austin track:
- We know what we have to improve for tomorrow [today]. We struggled a bit with the settings here, trying to get comfortable with the bike, but I had three crashes this [saturday] morning - two in two laps - and it wasn't ideal. But I know the bike has a good start. I struggled more with the left side [of the tyre]. I feel good on the bike; I don't feel terrible about it. I'm really suffering from the front, more than yesterday [on friday].
