Ryanair Flight Suffers Burst Tyre in Dublin Airport – AviationSource News

A Ryanair flight suffered a burst tire upon arrival at Dublin Airport earlier today.
It is understood that the flight affected was FR5542, originating from Liverpool Airport, having landed at Dublin Airport at 1729 local time.
FR5542 had departed from Liverpool at 1643 local time.

FR5542 was operated by EI-DHH, an 18.1-year-old Boeing 737-8AS delivered to Ryanair back in March 2005.
The Boeing 737-8AS’ in the Ryanair fleet typically seat 189 people in an all-economy set-up.
At the time of the incident, AirportsLiveTV.com was live-streaming the event, with the image above showing fire crews surrounding the aircraft.
It is understood that as a result of the aftermath at Dublin Airport, multiple aircraft had to divert to nearby Shannon Airport, as the aircraft was partially blocking Runway 28L.
At the time of writing, it is understood that the airport is currently operating via single-runway operations, using its new Runway 28R for departures and arrivals.
Usually, they would use Runway 28L for arrivals and 28R for departures at Dublin Airport when dual runway ops occur.
At this stage, it is still unclear when the Ryanair Boeing 737-800 will be cleared from the runway at Dublin Airport.
Emergency crews will be working hard to ensure that the aircraft can be cleared from the partial runway and taxiway as soon as is feasibly possible.
It is also unclear when EI-DHH will re-enter service with Ryanair following this incursion that has happened at Dublin Airport.
AviationSource will approach Ryanair for a comment on the incident. Although the cause has been confirmed, this still remains a developing story.
