Sales of daily essentials, groceries and home and personal care items grew 8% in the year ended March 31 while that of electronic products surged 25%, helped by a gradual recovery in the last quarter after a decline or flat growth in the initial few months of the financial year.
Tax avoidance of over Rs 100 cr each suspected; 31 cases involving evasion of more than Rs 50 cr also detected.
